My research interest is combination between experiment and applied mathematic to solve the problem of polluted gas and fired smoke.

Polluted gas and smoke.

Polluted gas and smoke contain several toxic compound especially carbon monoxide which dangerous for human health even human life. With the adsorption method using solid adsorbent, we tried to understand the degradation level of pollution and purification of smoke.

Characteristic of Adsorbent

Many adsorbent are materials have a lot of pores. The adsorption happens majorly in the wall of pores. The small size of pore making the surface area of adsorption almost 2000m2/g. Metal oxide (CuO, ZnO, MgO, TiO2) , zeolite, and activated carbon are the material which have a high potential to decrease the level of polluted gas and purify the smoke. From the earlier test, adsorption of carbon monoxide using activated carbon and natural zeolite as the adsorbent showing the result better than using metal oxide.
