Course Description

The Integrated Character Building is part of the Higher Education Personality Development Lecture held for students, which contains elements of the internalization of basic life values, interaction/relationship skills, nationality, academic skills and soft skills as the basis for student personality to carry out learning according to scientific disciplines. MPKT is a series of learning activities outside the formal class. Activities carried out include participation in lectures/seminars, internships, fieldwork practices, social work, sports and/or arts activities and other activities that aim to equip students with soft skills and are proven by portfolio documents.

Course Learning Outcomes

  • Apply self-regulated learning in a critical, logical, creative, and innovative manner to analyze societal, national, and state issues, including the Pancasila ideology, based on self-understanding as individuals and community members.
  • Utilize proper and effective Indonesian language, along with modern information and communication technology, to support academic and professional work (C4, A4).
  • Identify entrepreneurial opportunities characterized by innovation and independence, grounded in ethical principles (C2, A5).
  • Apply self-regulated learning to integrate and expand knowledge through the analysis of science, religion, and technology, while emphasizing environmental stewardship using proper Indonesian language and current communication tools (C4, A4).
  • Plan creative solutions to societal and industrial problems by demonstrating creativity, critical thinking, collaborative discipline, and effective use of Indonesian language and modern communication technologies (C5, A5).

The material provided in MPKT is designed to shape human thinking patterns with values and morals, fostering a personality based on:

  • Incorporates 9 UI values alongside national, state, and citizen values grounded in Pancasila principles.
