The depletion of fossil energy reserves and the need for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions make renewable energy sources more attractive. The Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis is a process for converting synthesis gas into aliphatic hydrocarbons. Synthesis gas (syngas), a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen, can be obtained from several sources, including coal, natural gas or even biomass. The FT hydrocarbon product, once it is separated and refined, can be used as transportation fuels. A non-fuel product can be cracked to desired transportation (liquid) fuels or other chemicals, or it can even be recycled to the syngas generation process. Some researches had been done in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Norway.
Herbs contain unique anti-oxidants, essential oils, vitamins, phyto-sterols and many other plants derived nutrient substances, which help equip our body to fight against germs, toxins and to boost immunity level. Herbs are, in fact, medicines in smaller dosages. Indonesia has many different herbs that benefit to human health.
