The Department of Chemical Engineering (DTK) FTUI on Monday 31 October 2022 received a visit from the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA). The ITERA group consisted of 15 leaders and staff, led by the Secretary of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Jabosar R. H. Panjaitan, S.T., M.T. and Coordinator of Chemical Engineering Study Program Dr.Eng. Feerzet Ahmad.
Located in the PGN room on the 2nd floor of DTK, the group was received directly by the Head of the Department, Dr. Bambang Heru Susanto, S.T., M.T., and the Secretary of the Department, Dr. Dianursanti, S.T., M.T. Head of Program. Bioprocess Engineering Study Dr. Tania Surya Utami, S.T., M.T., and Special Course Coordinator Dr. Ir. Yuliusman, M.Eng.
The meeting began with introductions, presentation of the Department’s profile by Mr. Dr. Bambang Heru and with a presentation from ITERA. The meeting then continued with a discussion and sharing of experiences related to the curriculum and the implementation of the Merdeka Learning Program for the Independent Campus (MBKM).
There was a lot of information and lessons that both parties could take from the discussion that day. It is hoped that the implementation of the curriculum and technical implementation of the MBKM Program can run better in the future.
