Lecturer of the Department of Chemical Engineering UI, is a graduate of the best state universities (UI, ITB, UGM, its, IPB), 90% are S3 graduates abroad (America, Germany, England, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austraslia Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Malaysia). The percentage of lecturers with S3 education is 90% and 10% with S2 education are currently completing S3 education abroad. The percentage of lecturers with 10 years of teaching experience and above is 90%. The department has international journals…………????? can be a vehicle for communication of various ideas and research findings of Chemical Engineering and bioprocess technology.

Infrastructure management of Chemical Engineering and bioprocess technology is handled directly by the faculty such as procurement, maintenance, and repair of damaged facilities.

The department building is specifically used for practicum, research, workshop, sample testing and administrative activities, while for lectures generally use a shared lecture hall at the faculty.

DTK building has 2 floors of building a and 4 floors of Building B have been renovated several times and arranged as needed: 1 administrative and archival room, living room, 39 lecturer Rooms, 6 meeting rooms, 1 Reading Room, 14 laboratory rooms, 1 workshop room, 1 ventura unit room (UPPM), 1 prayer room, 7 Technician/Laboratory rooms, and 2 goods storage warehouses.

Supporting facilities for teaching activities, each lecturer has a representative room with an area between 2 x 2.5 meters to 2.5 x 3 meters. Each lecturer room is equipped with 2 tables, one lecturer chair, two guest chairs, one archive storage cabinet, one book storage table, one small cabinet.

Each room of lecturers, administrative staff/technicians is equipped with computers, printers, internet networks and telephones. as for the meeting rooms, they are equipped with audio-visual devices, LCD TVs, webcams and projectors.

In meeting the needs of the academic community, UI has provided various facilities such as bus transportation around campus, campus bicycles, sports stadiums, Student Activity Center (Pusgiwa), canteens, vehicle parking lots, makara UI lodging dormitories, satellite clinic health services and UI Hospitals and security services.
