The Department of Chemical Engineering plays a role in research activities with the theme: “Sustainable chemical and bioprocess engineering for energy and product development.”

This research theme is supported by five research groups: Chemical Product Engineering, Process Intensification Technology, Bioprocess Engineering, Sustainable Energy and Process System Engineering. Research activities in the Department of Chemical Engineering have received various research funding from the government to support student research activities.
