Process Intensification Technology Lab

Process Intensification Technology (PIT) is the development of chemical engineering that leads to smaller, cleaner and more efficient processes in terms of energy and material use. The Process Intensification Technology research group covers a wide range of technologies, all aimed at increasing process efficiency by making the process scale smaller.

The research group focuses on specific technology areas, namely: membranes, ozone, ultraviolet, advanced oxidation processes, chemical process simulation and bio-based production processes.
